Compensation: $37,000 - $55,039. Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience.

SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant in Human Resources (HR) serves as the primary point of contact for individuals visiting the Department, performs administrative tasks, and provides support to ensure the efficient operation of the organization’s HR division.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Serve as the initial point of contact for employees, students, and visitors who visit the Human Resources Division, providing professional interaction and high-quality customer service.
- Provide administrative support to all functional areas within the Human Resources Team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Human Resources files, records, and documentation.
- Answer telephone calls, respond to email inquiries, and route to the appropriate individuals while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of Human Resource files and records.
- Assist with special projects as assigned by the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and/or the Director of Employee Relations | Title IX Coordinator.
- Provide back-up to the Executive Administrative Assistant and the Benefits Coordinator in the performance of duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Detail-oriented.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook, or related software.
- Ability to manage several projects with multiple deadlines simultaneously.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- One (1) year of documented administrative experience in an office/ professional environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Associate’s or higher degree.
- HR Expertise: Direct experience in an HR administrative/ support role.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience within an educational environment (Higher Ed or K-12).
- Bilingual Skills: Fluency in Spanish, Khmer, or Portuguese is desirable.
WORKING CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, talk, hear, walk, and sit. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally push or lift items.
WORK SCHEDULE
40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Must be able to work a variable schedule/hours to meet operational needs. May require evening and weekend hours. This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.
