Compensation: $54,153 - $74,459. Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience.

SUMMARY
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing and Institutional Image, the Graphic Designer maintains the graphic brand identity and provides design services for marketing publications, advertising, and other projects with attention to quality and innovation.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Design print publications and other materials for the college.
- Plan and implement design and production timeline for projects.
- Create and maintain brand standards for the college.
- Edit, correct, and improve photos using photography software.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to create graphic design projects.
- Coordinate and/or take photography and video as needed to support design projects.
- Maintain a high level of quality in creating design projects, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the project.
- Create packages for print, web, and other publication methods.
- Assist in finishing print pieces, as needed, in the Print Shop.
- Support the college marketing strategy and goals with various other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong attention to detail in creating publications.
- Proficiency in photo correction and enhancement using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Understanding of how to bid and prepare documents for all types of professional printing.
- Knowledge of creating brand identity and brand standards.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to take feedback and incorporate it into designs.
- Proficiency in photography and/or videography.
- Proficiency in digital media design and/or advertising.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or higher degree in graphic design, commercial art, or equivalent degree specialty.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in graphic design, including print production.
- Three (3) or more years of full-time work experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in graphic design, commercial art, or equivalent degree specialty.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in higher education.
- One (1) or more years of experience in photography and/or videography.
- Four (4) or more years of experience in graphic design.

WORK SCHEDULE
40 hours per week, during regular hours of Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Must be able to work a variable schedule/hour to meet operational needs. May require evening and weekend hours.
