General Work Study 

Working on campus while you're a student is a great way to gain skills and experience, and most of the student positions are going to be flexible around your class schedule. Contact Career Services for questions or assistance or click below to get started!

This application is for students who have already been offered a specific work study position. To find and apply for specific open work study positions, log in to Handshake at
kckcc.joinhandshake.com.

Check with Financial Aid to make sure you’re eligible for Work Study funding. They will give you a Work Study Authorization Form showing your eligibility and award amount for the semester. Save this form - you will need it to apply for Work Study positions.

Log in to Handshake with your student email, find the position(s) you want to apply for, and apply. The supervisor for the job(s) you applied for can then contact you for interviews or to discuss the position.

  • Read the job announcement carefully, noting the initial screening date, minimum qualifications, and required information.
