SUMMARY
This is a part-time opportunity for a 4DX Team Coach to support the implementation of The Four Disciplines of Execution (4DX), a strategic framework developed by Franklin Covey. This initiative is central to KCKCC’s mission of improving student completion rates, a critical institutional priority. Coaches will guide teams across the college to set and achieve Wildly Important Goals (WIGs), track progress using lead measures, and maintain accountability using visual scoreboards.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position involves supporting multiple teams in achieving their goals through coaching, data analysis, and collaboration and is responsible for the following:
Team Support
- Work with 8-12 teams from different departments to develop and progress toward accomplishing their WIGs.
Goal Setting
- Assist teams in brainstorming WIGs and identifying lead measures that drive success.
Coaching and Accountability
- As needed, conduct check-ins, attend team WIG sessions, and offer one-on-one coaching.
Data Analysis
- Help teams regularly update their scoreboards and maintain accurate data in the College’s 4DX tracking system.
Success Recognition
- Recognize team achievements through emails, awards, and college-wide communications.
Leadership Collaboration
- Participate in weekly meetings with the College Lead Coach to share updates, address challenges, and deepen an understanding of 4DX.
Other Duties
- Performs other duties as assigned by the administrator.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- One (1) year of implementation experience of 4DX.
- Experience working with a team.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable feedback.
- Commitment to KCKCC’s mission of improving student success.
- Previous experience in coaching, facilitation, or leadership roles.

WORK SCHEDULE
Coaches are expected to:
- Attend brief weekly All-Coaches meetings.
- Complete weekly coaching assignments for assigned teams.
- Provide individual coaching as needed.
- Maintain accurate data in the College’s 4DX tracking systems.
- Contribute to the college-wide goal of increasing student completion rates.
Note: Coaching responsibilities are in addition to your regular duties. This position requires a flexible schedule, which may include evening and weekend hours to meet operational needs.
