KCKCC is preparing for the 2018 Spring Semester by identifying candidates for the following position

 

FULL TIME INSTRUCTOR – SOCIOLOGY

 

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Instructional responsibilities include teaching a minimum of fifteen semester hours of Sociology discipline courses per semester.
  • Participate in college activities and serve on college committee(s) as assigned.
  • Maintain scheduled office hours per the Master Contract.
  • Participate in professional activities and college functions.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Division Dean.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Post-secondary teaching experience preferred, as well as experience with learning management systems.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Master’s Degree in Sociology or, a Master’s degree and 18 graduate hours in sociology is required; Doctorate degree is preferred.
  • Significant related graduate coursework a plus.

 

 

 

 

LOCATION:

  • Teaching assignments may be at the Main Campus, Online, the Pioneer Career Center in Leavenworth, or area high schools.

SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience per the Faculty Master Contract.
