Reporting directly to the Head Coach, the PT Assistant Baseball Coach shall work with and assist the Head Coach in the following areas:
 
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Recruitment of athletes including, but not limited to, evaluation, phone calls, mailings, game film.
2. Organizing and supervising of practices, study hall and fundraising activities.
3. Maintaining records and databases.
4. Enforcing all rules and regulations, per the College’s guidelines and other enforcement agencies that govern athletics of KCKCC.
5. Assuming responsibility for uniforms and equipment.
6. Overseeing set-up and/or tear down of equipment for home games and events.
7. Assuming responsibility for the transportation of team member’s per the college’s policies and guidelines.
8. Participation in practices and/or competitions.
9. Traveling with athletes to all competitions (CDL Class C is required).
10. Facilitate game film.

 
CONSULTING TASKS:

1. Performing other duties as assigned by the respective Head Coach and/or Athletic Director.

   
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Student Baseball athletes.
2. Work Study Students.
3. Managers.

 
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s preferred.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a player or coach in baseball required.
